Arbor Day | 31st of January
We owe trees the fundamental elements of life: clean air, fresh water, food, shelter, and medicine. Trees also regulate climate, support biodiversity, provide resources for livelihoods (wood, jobs) and offer recreational spaces. In return, we must protect them from deforestation, fires, draught and illnesses.
Every year for the Valencian Community Tree Day, January 31st, we would like to take the opportunity to celebrate how important trees are in our lives. We want to start a new healthy and enriching tradition with you: planting trees and shrubs in public areas where they are most needed, such as parks or forests, in collaboration with local councils.
In 2026, a planting will take place in Les Moles in collaboration with the Felisa Foundation, the Generalitat Nursery, and other organisations.
We put the trees and bushes, the water, the tools, solve the paperwork and look for the planting area. You only have to come and enjoy a morning outdoors in good company.
Come and join us!
